Let’s Make it Another Great Year at South Creek!
Thank you for your interest in the South Creek PTO! We are a non-profit organization whose membership is open to any parent, guardian, or teacher at South Creek Elementary. We work together to to help build a strong relationship between home and school. We work to support our students, teachers, and staff through events, activities, and raising funds – and we try to have fun doing it!
There are many ways you can become involved with the PTO. First, you can fill out a membership form and return it with $5. You will be added to our email distribution list so that you can be updated on all the PTO opportunities.
PTO meetings are held once a month on Mondays from 6-7:00pm in the LGI room. Free childcare will be provided to those attending. We encourage your attendance and your input.
Some current events planned for the year include the Gator Gallup, Breakfast with Santa, Spring Fling, Cookies & Canvas, Pizza Making Night, and Spirit Nights in the community.
We will also have fundraisers, but we never ask your children to go door to door. In addition to supporting school events, the PTO funds websites used by our students in the classroom, supports teacher projects and supplies, and organizes staff appreciation events. Some recent projects/teams that have been and will be supported by the PTO are the rock wall project, the South Creek Robotics Team, and the South Creek Scholarship Fund (Open to all graduating FC seniors that went to South Creek.)
You can directly help the PTO support South Creek by:
- Sending in Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education- Clip, save, and send in to your child’s teacher with the student’s name on the bag or envelope. This is ongoing throughout the year.
- Attending and/or Volunteering for Spirit Events in the community – a portion of the proceeds return to South Creek.
- Purchasing Spirit Wear for your students to wear on school Spirit Days.
- Adding South Creek to your Kroger Rewards Card at Kroger Rewards.
